Academic Entry Requirement To be eligible for entry, you'll need: a bachelor honours degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline (see below), or a bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline (see below), plus 2 years full-time equivalent relevant work experience (see below), or the Graduate Certificate in Finance and Investment Management from UQ (or equivalent), or the Graduate Certificate in Commerce from UQ (or equivalent). You must have a grade point average (GPA) of 4.5 on a 7-point scale in your previous qualification. International applicants must have completed the Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT) with a minimum score of 550. Relevant disciplines for previous qualifications Relevant disciplines include: a bachelor or bachelor honours degree in accounting, commerce, economics, finance, mathematics or quantitative methods; or a bachelor or bachelor honours degree containing at least 5 courses in the following areas: calculus or advanced mathematics or high mathematics or mathematical analysis; finance or financial management; accounting or accounting management; business analytics or business information systems; algebra; probability or statistics; statics; ordinary differential equation or numerical analysis or differential equations or multivariate analysis Relevant work experience Relevant work experience should typically be post-graduation and includes work in finance, funds management, debt/liquidity management, broking, bank/corporate treasury, trading, business partner (accounting, economics or finance), origination, and investment banking in various types of roles (front office, middle office and relevant support functions e.g. legal), or project management roles (with financial, venture capital or quantitative responsibilities).
