Foundation studies equip international students with academic English, study skills, and subject fundamentals required for successful entry into Australian and New Zealand universities. Programs are structured as formal pathway qualifications aligned to tertiary preparation standards.
Senior secondary equivalent to Australian Year 11 with minimum ~50% overall; age 16+ at commencement. IELTS (Academic) 5.5 overall with no band below 5.0, or PTE/TOEFL/Cambridge as per RMIT tables. Meeting minimums does not guarantee admission.
Completion leads primarily to university admission rather than direct employment. Students progress into bachelor degrees across business, engineering, health, IT, arts, and science disciplines at partner institutions.
