Foundation studies equip international students with academic English, study skills, and subject fundamentals required for successful entry into Australian and New Zealand universities. Programs are structured as formal pathway qualifications aligned to tertiary preparation standards.
Year 11 equivalent with minimum ~70% overall; age 17+ at commencement. Prerequisite: minimum ~65% in Year 11 Mathematics or Chemistry (or equivalent). IELTS (Academic) 6.0 overall with no band below 5.5 (or equivalent per RMIT).
Completion leads primarily to university admission rather than direct employment. Students progress into bachelor degrees across business, engineering, health, IT, arts, and science disciplines at partner institutions.
