Entry Requirements: Year 12 or equivalent International Baccalaureate Diploma with a minimum score of 22 Cambridge International: GCE A-Level (2 passes with an aggregate score of 3) Score is based on Advanced Level where A*=6, A=5, B=4, C=3, D=2, E=1. Note: AS subjects are not acceptable. RECOMMENDED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE To be prepared for this course, it is recommended that you: Are able to work effectively with numbers and calculations Can study independently Have an interest in learning new practical and theory skills LICENSING REQUIREMENTS If an accounting professional wishes to offer a Business Activity Statement (BAS) service for a fee or other reward, they must be registered by the Australian Tax Practitioners Board (TPB). The Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping meets the TPB requirements for BAS registration. If you are interested in BAS Agent Registration in Australia, you will need to check all current requirements with the Tax Practitioners Board.
