This bachelor qualification develops comprehensive undergraduate knowledge in science and STEM, combining theory, applied projects, and professional preparation for graduate employment or further study.
Academic Requirements: ATAR 80 Must have year 12 pass To be considered for admission to this course an applicant must have— (a) achieved an ATAR of at least 88, or equivalent as recognised by UWA; and meet the additional requirements stated at (2) below or (b) a direct pathway offer; or (c) a place in a relevant UWA access program. (2) To be considered for admission to this course an applicant must submit a satisfactory personal statement, as recognised by UWA. (3) Before admission, international students must obtain a criminal record check from their country of origin or recent residence. English Language Requirements: IELTS Academic require an overall score of at least 7.5, a minimum score of 7.0 in the Reading and Writing bands, and a minimum score of 8.0 in the Listening and Speaking bands. Pearson Test of English (PTE) (Academic) require an overall score of at least 75 and no sub-score less than 70. Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE) require an overall grade of B or above, with a score of 'exceptional' for listening and speaking, and at least 'good' for reading and writing. Applicants with qualifications gained wholly in English from countries other than Australia, New Zealand, the Republic of Ireland, Canada, the United Kingdom, and the United States of America must provide evidence of English Language Competence in accordance with the requirements of the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia.
