This bachelor qualification develops comprehensive undergraduate knowledge in business and commerce, combining theory, applied projects, and professional preparation for graduate employment or further study.
Academic Requirements: Must have year 12 pass (a) achieved an ATAR of at least 90, or equivalent as recognised by UWA; and meet the additional requirements stated at (2) below or (b) a direct pathway offer; or (c) a place in a relevant UWA access program. (2) A scaled mark of at least 50% in ATAR Mathematics Applications (recommend Mathematics Methods) or equivalent. Admission ranking and selection 7. Where relevant, admission will be awarded to the highest ranked applicants or applicants selected based on the relevant requirements. Transfer Requirements 8.(1) A student enrolled in an undergraduate degree course at UWA may apply to transfer into this combined degree course if they satisfy the following conditions: (a) the student has not commenced their final semester of enrolment in their current course; and (b) the course transfer is undertaken within the two transfer windows in each academic year; and (c) there are no quotas preventing the student from enrolling in a major or unit in which the student seeks to enrol; and (2) the student has completed a minimum of 48 points of study in their current course and achieved a WAM of at least 60 and (3) the student has completed the units ECON1101 Microeconomics, Prices and Markets; ECON1102 Macroeconomics, Money and Finance; FINA1221 Introduction to Finance and STAT1520 Economics and Business Statistics and passed all four units at the first attempt with WAM across the four units of 75 or greater. English Language Requirements: Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE) - Minimum grade of 180 with no band less than 170 Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE) - Minimum grade of 180 with no band less than 170 GCE A-level - Minimum grade E in English Language, English Literature or English Language and Literature. IELTS (Academic) - Minimum overall score of 6.5 with no band less than 6.0 International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB) - English A1 at HL or SL - Minimum score 4, English A2 at HL or SL - Minimum score 4, English B at HL - Minimum score 5. PTE (Academic) - An overall score of 64 with a minimum score of 64 in the reading and writing sections, and no less than 54 in the other sections. TOEFL - Essay Rating / Test of Written English (TWE) of 4.5 and either 230 (Computer-based) or 570 (Paper-based) score. TOEFL iBT - An overall score of 82 with a minimum score of: 22 in the Writing section; 18 in the Reading section; 20 in the Speaking section; and 20 in the Listening section for all courses
