Admission Requirements To be considered for admission to this course an applicant must have— (a) a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery, or an equivalent qualification, as recognised by UWA; and (b) at least two years of professional experience and evidence of the following: (i) awareness of contemporary issues in neonatology; and (ii) basic competence in paediatrics professional learning; and (iii) experience in leading and managing others; and (iv) engagement in ongoing professional learning; and (c)(i) a current enrolment in the advanced neonatal training program through the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP); or (ii) a qualification as a neonatologist through the RACP, or an equivalent qualification, as recognised by UWA; or (iii) a qualification as a medical practitioner and a desire for an academic career in neonatology. English Requirements: Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE) - Minimum grade of 180 with no band less than 170 Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE) - Minimum grade of 180 with no band less than 170 GCE A-level - Minimum grade E in English Language, English Literature or English Language and Literature. IELTS (Academic) - Minimum overall score of 6.5 with no band less than 6.0 International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB) - English A1 at HL or SL - Minimum score 4, English A2 at HL or SL - Minimum score 4, English B at HL - Minimum score 5. PTE (Academic) - An overall score of 64 with a minimum score of 64 in the reading and writing sections, and no less than 54 in the other sections. TOEFL - Essay Rating / Test of Written English (TWE) of 4.5 and either 230 (Computer-based) or 570 (Paper-based) score.
