Academic Entry Requirement Minimum Level of Education Required: To be accepted for this program, students must have Standard XII Higher Secondary Certificate or equivalent including required course(s): Grade 12 Math or successful completion of the CIII in Engineering - Technical (if no Year 12) or the Diploma of Engineering - Technical if no Year 12 Maths). All international students will be required to undertake an Engineering Diagnostic Test during the orientation and induction program at TAFE SA (prior to commencing their course) to demonstrate sufficient and required technical skills for academic success. See course note for more information. English Language Requirements IELTS Academic: Overall score 6.0 with minimum of 5.5 in all bands. PTE Academic: Overall score50 with 36 in all four skills TOEFL iBT: Overall score 64 (Reading: 8–12, Listening: 7–11, Speaking: 16–17, Writing: 18–20) Occupational English Test (OET):C in all four components
